Facing the Bowling Green in Stevenage’s Old Town, we’re located in a beautiful Grade 2 listed building.
Our mission is to bring modern British cuisine to Stevenage using seasonal, locally sourced where possible produce, with service which is good without being stuffy; a special occasion venue which doesn’t break the bank.
But please don’t expect table linen; we are committed to keeping our environmental footprint as small as it can be and washing table linen is detrimental to the watercourse and aqueous habitat; recycling paper napkins is much kinder.
Trabuxu Wine Bar:- Tuesday to Thursday 5pm to 10pm; Friday 5pm to 11pm; Saturday 1pm to 11pm
On The Green Restaurant:- Wednesday and Thursday 6pm to 10pm; Friday and Saturday 5pm to 11pm

Moules marinieres – a French classic dish of juicy Scottish mussels poached in a white wine and garlic sauce, served with garlic bread- £7.50
Beef ossobuco served with parsnip puree, parsnip crisps, parisienne potato and Romanesco cauliflower – £17.50
Cauliflower “steak” gratin (cheddar bechemel sauce and cashew nuts) served with roast beetroot and watercress – £13.50
Brazilian flan served with coconut crumble and berries – £6.50
