3 courses £25 per person

Starters – choice of

* Vegan carrot soup served with crispy sage and crushed peanuts; or
* Vegan risotto balls served with tomato sauce; or
* Blue cheese panacotta served with hazelnut and bread crumbs and balsamic glazed beetroot; or
* Black pudding “scotch eggs”, black pudding where the egg would usually be, two deep fried and served with a red wine reduction; or
* Marinated mackerel served with a potato, mustard and chive quenelle, horseradish and green leaves.

 

Mains – choice of

* Vegan roast cauliflower served with barley, almonds, parsley and chilli (can add chicken); or
* Vegan spice and dill braised vegetable roots served with polenta; or
* Leek, asparagus and goats cheese tart served with a soy reduction, roasted beetroot and cress; or
* Slow cooked pork belly served with parisienne potato, Romanesco cauliflower, chantenay carrots and a soy reduction; or
* Chicken and spinach roulade served with dauphinoise potato, cavolo nero, chantennay carrots and a rosemary sauce; or
* Pan seared trout served with cauliflower, carrot, asparagus, garlic aoli and cress; or
* Bavette steak served pan fried potatoes, baby carrots, tenderstem broccoli and your choice of grainy mustard or rosemary sauce (£5 supplement)

 

Desserts – choice of

* Rhubarb parfait served with spiced crumble infused with black olive and a rhubarb gel; or
* Chaussons aux Pommes – apples flavoured with cinnamon, wrapped in puff pastry and served with Maynard’s ice cream; or
* Vegan chocolate brownie served with salted caramel sauce and sorbet; or
* Cheeseboard, a selection of cheeses served with biscuits, fruit, walnuts and chutney (£3 supplement).
